Non-Denomination Ceremony Structure (example)
Although the order and content of any wedding cermony
is really up to the Bride and Groom a non-denomination ceremony follows
like this:
- The Bride enters and stands beside the Groom
- Welcoming remarks are made to the guests
- A prayer is conducted
- If desired, a selection from the bible is read
- The Officiant speaks to the Bride and Groom about the sancity of marriage
- The Rose or Candle ceremony is conducted if desired
- Vows are exchanged
- Rings are exchanged
- A finaly prayer and/or bible reading is conducted
- The Bride and Groom are pronunced Husband and Wife/Partners for Life
Of course, any number of variations are possible
depending on whether the ceremony included any ethics, religous,
cultural or other considerations such as Vows Renewals or Life Partner Ceremonies.
